Fascinated by Camille Claudel and Auguste Rodin, after 35 years spent in Alsace, Philippe settled near Brantôme in Périgord. He works mainly with local products (stones, chestnut, oak, walnut...), creates frescoes and original moulds for chocolate makers. He took part in many sets for private parties and exhibitions. In love with the human body, especially women’s body, his sensitivity leads him incessantly into the exploitation of movement, grace which he seeks to fix into eternity through matter, the perfection of the curve… His confrontation with matter, with its emotional and physical constraints. Expert in the creation of plaster coin moulds. He welcomes you every day of the year for courses, painting, sculpture, modelling and drawing workshops. Permanent exhibition at his studio.
