Chapelle Notre-Dame de Bon Secours

Standing on the corner of the “place de la Victoire”, the chapel houses a 17th century golden statue made of wood: the Virgin Mary holding her child Jesus and in her right hand a stick which probably was originally a flowered reed. The sculpture is very dear to the inhabitants of Mareuil who solemnly celebrate her festival on the 8th of September every year.
