Details

The building juxtaposes parts from feudal times to elements of late 17th century. Castellany from 1253, its towers housed during the reign of King Louis XII Antoine d’Authon, better known as Barbarossa, pasha of Algiers and admiral of the Turkish fleet. This seigneurial residence is filled with the local history of forges in Northern Périgord since many munitions for the King’s navy were manufactured here.
